With more than 20 years in local broadcast news, Linda is one of the most recognized and respected journalists in the North State. She is a Chico native, bringing an â??insiderâ??sâ?쳌 perspective to news coverage.
A graduate of California State University, Chico, Lindaâ??s career began as News Director at KCHO National Public Radio.
She also worked at KNVR Radio before starting as a weekend reporter for KHSL TV in 1985.
Linda loves living and working in Northern California because of the beauty of the area, the quality of life, and of courseâ?¦the people!
Linda has received awards for her work from the Chico Economic Planning Corporation, California Farm Bureau, Butte and Tehama County Farm Bureaus, and the Tehama County Cattlemenâ??s Association. She has also been recognized for community service by Butte Collegeâ??s Beta Theta Kappa Chapter, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butte County, The United Way, Corning Rotary Club, Easter Seals of Northern California, Butte County Friday Night Live Partnership, and the Daughters of the American Revolution Gold Nugget Chapter.
Linda is active as a career mentor to high school and college students, and is a regular visitor to local schools. She also enjoys time at home with her husband and son.
