Mostly cloudy skies, some scattered light showers, and light winds are ahead for your Thursday forecast. Precipitation will be limited across the north state today, as the low pressure system that brought widespread showers to the region has exited off to the South and East overnight. Conditions are expected to be mostly mild today, but light scattered showers could linger into the afternoon. Winds are expected to be light across the region today. Temperature are starting out in the mid 40's for the valley, and 30's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the high 40's to mid 50's for the valley this afternoon, and in the mid 30's to low 40's in the mountains.
Friday will be dry across the north state, but showers are expected to return on Friday night. Those showers look likely to continue through most of your Saturday forecast, before dry conditions return for Sunday. Another round of wet weather will arrive in the region on Monday. More waves of wet weather are expected to filter through the West Coast for the better part of next week. Temperatures will not change much through your extended forecast, despite the mix of dry and wet days ahead. I hope everyone enjoys a break from the heavy rain through tomorrow afternoon, and has a great Thursday!
