Looks like a wet start to our weekend... another storm is coming our way! The pattern will remain unsettled, and more wet weather is coming our way next week.
Our Friday started sunny, but clouds moved back in by this afternoon. A new storm is moving in from the Pacific, and will bring us light rain by early Saturday morning, lasting until early afternoon... when it should turn to a few showers. This storm doesn't look nearly as strong as the big ones we had earlier this week... look for 1/4" to 1/3" of rain for the Valley. No real pressure gradient either, so there won't be much wind. No real cold air coming in either, so snow levels should remain near 3500'... Where they were for the storms from earlier this week.
The storm will move east Saturday night, and our skies will turn partly cloudy. That should last through Sunday, so we'll get one nice day to get outside this weekend!
Our next storm arrives Monday, but it's looking weak as well. We'll see just a few showers from it, and again not much wind.
Look for a break on Tuesday, and another weak storm on Wednesday.
Overall, the long range pattern continues to look wet, with storms remaining in the forecast through the third week of January. Slowly and steadily... the totals are adding up, and the lakes are beginning to fill up!
