A weak storm is heading our way, and should bring us a bit of rain Friday night. We'll dry up Saturday, and warm up Sunday!
The jet stream is bringing us a weak storm Friday night. It's really just a good surge of moisture, and not so much an organized storm. We'll get some light rain from it, but not much... Maybe 1/10" in the Valley, with higher amounts in the mountains. The snow level should be around 5000' by early Saturday.
The rain turns to scattered showers on Saturday, with perhaps a bit of afternoon clearing in the Valley. The showers should linger in the Sierra for most of Saturday, however. Skies will clear Saturday night, and we'll see plenty of sunshine on Sunday... Great weather for the Wildflower Century ride! Look for a bit of a north wind, about 5 to 15 mph in the Valley.
Valley highs will soar to the upper 80's on Monday as high pressure continues to strengthen. Temperatures will back down a bit later in the week, but next week looks pretty warm overall.
But before high pressure arrives, look for a bit of wet weather Friday night!
