Law Enforcement asking for help in search for Humboldt Co. teen

The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance locating 14-year-old Morgan Rowan Martin.

Morgan's grandmother reported her missing around 1:00 a.m. Saturday. The grandmother told law enforcement they had taken in the fireworks show from Parkwood Boulevard in Eureka around 8:30 p.m.

Following the fireworks Morgan told her grandmother she was going to visit a friend and walked off. She failed to come home.

The grandmother searched for her until midnight and checked with all her friends, but no one reported seeing her.

Morgan's grandmother has informed authorities that the teen has some medical issues that require medication.

Martin is described as follows: 14-years-old, white female, 5'7" tall, brown eyes, short strawberry blond hair, approximately 178 lbs. She was last seen wearing dark yoga pants, a dark San Francisco Giants ball cap and pink blouse. Her hair is in a ponytail and she carries a flowered purse.
