A big drug bust for the Shasta Interagency Narcotic Task Force. SINTF agents seized a large amount of methamphetamine in a morning raid. A search warrant was served at a residence on the 1700 block of Milo Avenue in Redding just before 7:30 a.m. this morning. During the search agents located over two and a half pounds of methamphetamine.
The officers also found over 10 pounds of processed marijuana along with numerous prescription pills and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The agents arrested 43-year-old Richard Anthony Garrity and 18-year-old Tearney Alicyn Lemon for possession of controlled substances and maintaining a residence where narcotics where used and sold. Both were booked into the Shasta County Jail.
The Redding Police Department, the California Highway Patrol, and other members of the Shasta County Sheriff's Office assisted in the raid.
