Water levels at North State lakes continue to inch lower day by day during this fourth year of drought.
A major indicator of just how dry conditions have been this year are the boat launches at Lake Oroville.
The Spillway launch, as well as the Lime Saddle launch are now closed due to low lake levels. This year's closure is about two weeks earlier than last year.
As of today, Lake Oroville is only 36 percent capacity, it should be closer to half full.
Shasta Lake now stands at 45 percent of full, when it should be about 61 percent full this time of year.
