Sacramento Kings forward Derrick Williams is coming back to Redding to host his annual basketball camp June 22-25 at Shasta High School in Redding.
The cost of the camp for boys and girls ages 9-18 is $225 and runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
A separate half-day "Little Dribblers" camp for young hoopsters ages 5-8 will run from 9 a.m. to noon and cost $125.
Williams was the second overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft after being named a first team All-American while playing at the University of Arizona.
He was traded to Sacramento in November 2013.
This past season he averaged 8.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game while playing nearly twenty minutes a contest.
The camp, which is in its third year in Redding, will include hands-on teaching from Williams and the rest of his staff with appropriate training for players of all ages.
Individual and team competitions will be held along with a question and answer session from Williams.
Lunch will be provided for free each day. Every camper will also have a chance to receive Williams' autograph and take a photo with him.
