12-year-old Theron Trujillo is up and coming in the world of inventor's.
Theron invented a baby gate to protect his little sister from falling through the screen of their family home in Plumas Lake, south of Marysville.
His invention has gotten National attention, recently recognized in las vegas for his invention by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association.
With his invention complete, and the patent in place, Theron has begun negotiations with major retailers, in hopes of getting the gate across America.
