LOS ANGELES (AP) - Kaiser Permanente has announced plans to open a medical school somewhere in Southern California in 2019.
The Oakland-based healthcare giant said Thursday that no site has been selected yet for the facility, which will be called the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine.
The company says the school will consider new models of care and new technologies as it trains the next generations of physicians.
