Juvenile Arrested for Probation Violation, Possession of Loaded Firearm

School Resource Officer Aaron Murray learned a juvenile previously expelled from Red Bluff Union High School had entered a dance last Friday night at the school. According to the Red Bluff Police Department press release, the juvenile had ignored teacher’s instructions to leave the campus before being escorted from the dance.

Officer Murray contacted the juvenile’s probation officer, who authorized a probation violation on the juvenile. Around 1:35 p.m. Friday, Murray located the juvenile on First Street near Park Avenue. Murray Arrested the Juvenile for the probation violation. Upon arrest, Murray located a loaded handgun in the juvenile’s waistband.

The juvenile was arrested for probation violation, carrying a concealed firearm and possession of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a public school. The juvenile was booked into the Tehama County Juvenile Justice Center.
