A juvenile was arrested on his way to high school Friday morning in possession of multiple firearms and a small quantities of drugs, the Marysville Police reported.
The 17-year-old was pulled over by a Marysville Police officer for a traffic incident where the driver told officers he was late for school.
A DMV check revealed the juvenile was driving the vehicle without a license. Officers conducted a search and found several bullets in the center console.
During a further search of the suspect’s vehicle, officers found two 38 caliber handguns and approximately a just under four grams of cocaine. Both firearms are unregistered.
The 17-year-old old was arrested for gun and drug possession violations including minor in possession of a firearm, minor in possession of ammunition, possession of a concealed unregistered firearm, carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine for sales and transportation of cocaine.
He was booked into Bi-County Juvenile Hall.
