It was a warm start to our week, and we'll see an even warmer day tomorrow! It won't last too long, however... rain should return by the end of the week.
High pressure has returned to California, and we're going to get a break in the wet weather over the next few days. Look for mostly sunny skies again tomorrow. A light north breeze should help prevent fog formation in the Valley. Skies will turn partly cloudy Wednesday, then mostly cloudy Thursday as our next storm approaches. We may see a few showers near the Oregon border Thursday, but the steady rain should hold off until Friday. That rain will turn to scattered showers again on Saturday. Snow levels will again be high to start... over 5000'. By Saturday, they should drop to near 3500'... but most of the precipitation will have moved through by then.
We'll dry back up on Sunday but cooler air will move in, and we'll see Valley lows drop into the 30's for the first time in a while.
