BEIRUT (AP) - The Islamic State group is claiming responsibility for a weekend attack outside a center near Dallas, Texas, that displayed cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.
The extremist group says on its Al Bayan radio station that "two soldiers of the caliphate" carried out the attack and that IS promises to deliver more in the future.
It's the first time the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for an attack in the United States, but it's unclear if the group is just opportunistically claiming the shooting as its own.
