Indoor Marijuana Grows Busted in Humboldt Warehouses

Drug Agents and Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies have seized more than 3200 marijuana plants in raids on three warehouses in an industrial park.
Search warrants were served this week the McKenny Industrial Warehouses on Airport Road in Fortuna California.
27 year old Robert Weese was arrested on cultivation and possession charges, after the marijuana was found growing in various stages in a sophisticated indoor grow operation … in four separate units.
Based off information obtained through the investigation surrounding the incident, agents served search warrants at several residences throughout Humboldt County … where they seized an additional 25 pounds of dried marijuana, two firearms, hash, hash lab equipment , and records.
Arrest warrants are being sought for several more suspects.
The units at McKenny Industrial Warehouses are individually metered for PG&E, and plumbed for water. The Sheriff’s Office has served warrants at this location in the last 12 months, and continually receives complaints from the public regarding the odor of marijuana emanating from the buildings.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the public that it is a felony in the state of California to profit from the sales of marijuana. ###
