A Shasta Lake man has been arrested for indecent exposure outside of a local Target, according to the Redding Police Department.

Police were called to the Redding Target Center a little before 12 p.m. Thursday after several shoppers reported a man watching women enter the store while touching himself in an inappropriate manner.

When officers arrived they found Michael Brushett, 58, sitting in his 1992 Corvette near the Target entrance.

According to police, Brushett confessed to the alleged indecent exposure, stating he had been sitting in front of the store for about 40 minutes. He was arrested and has been booked into the Shasta County Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure.
