An Idaho man was fatally struck by two cars near Highway 70 in Yuba County early Saturday morning.
The incident happened at the North Beale off-ramp when according to the California Highway Patrol, a 39-year-old man was walking along the highway when he walked onto the roadway and was stuck by a car.
The driver of a Toyota Sedan told investigators they tried to swerve and avoid the man, but it was to late.
The man who was struck died at the scene. He has not been identified, but officials say he is from Nampa, Idaho.
