I-5 lanes reopen after single vehicle crash near Willows

All lanes of Interstate 5 northbound have reopened after traffic was briefly delayed Monday afternoon following a single vehicle crash south of Willows.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle rolled six times before ending up on its side near County Road 60, south of Willows around 12:15 p.m.

The driver, 24-year-old Martin Santos, of Sacramento was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center, while the passenger, Vikramteet Singh, of Sacramento, was able to escape with just a few scrapes on his arms. Santos is currently in fair condition at Enloe.

The accident happened when the driver veered to the right, then over corrected causing the rollover.
