SAN DIEGO (AP) - Authorities say a man wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of his wife surrendered to San Diego police at the San Ysidro border crossing.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reports 40-year-old Jeremy Green was escorted on foot across the border from Mexico by homicide investigators early Friday.
He could face a murder charge in the killing of 37-year-old Tressa Green in a Scripps Ranch parking lot on June 6.
Investigators say the Greens had just left a marital counseling session and were arguing when Jeremy Green pulled out a gun and shot his wife several times.
Investigators found his silver Corvette near the border crossing Tuesday.
Court records show Tressa Green filed for divorce in April, citing irreconcilable differences.
It's not immediately known if Jeremy Green has a lawyer.
