The grounds behind Feather Falls Casino in Oroville turned into a muddy obstacle course for the third annual Lord's Gym Mud Run on Saturday.
The windy five-mile course featured twenty obstacles including wall climbing, tire swings, ice baths and water planks.
More than 700 people participated and they got more than a little dirty while having a lot of fun in the process.
"I would one hundred percent do this again. It was a lot of fun and it was challenging, but I think that was the fun part, coming through at the end and knowing that you all worked really hard to achieve something," said Cynthia Kinnamong.
"It was my first time doing a mud run, the obstacles were really fun, some of them were really hard, but it was good," said Samantha Ryan.
Proceeds of the event benefit charity.
