How to Aid Those Displaced by Clover Fire

The Clover Fire has decimated 80 structures and has burned over 7,400 acres. As a result, many residents of the area are without a home and without basic supplies. Here is some general information in order to help those members of the North State.

The Red Cross is accepting financial donations but does not have the ability to accept food or clothing.

The Gateway Animal Hospital in Anderson is currently housing small animals. The Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic is housing larger animals is currently full, but they are in need of bedding, towels, blankets and food. Their number is 365-4521.

The Salvation Army is seeking prepared food items as well as packaged snacks. They have indicated they will not take homemade food as all items must be packaged.

Food and beverage items can be taken to the Salvation Army’s Redding location on 2691 Larksbur Lane.
