Dry, and hotter conditions are in store for your Thursday Farmcast. Today will have the peak of the heat for your work week before conditions become a little more mild this weekend. Valley locations only dropped into the high 60's to mid 70's overnight, and are projected to climb into the high 90's to around 105 degrees this afternoon. Winds will be out of the North to around 10mph, and humidity values will fall to around 15 percent. The hotter temperatures, and lower humidty values will increase fire danger through the end of the week.
Temperatures will be slightly cooler this weekend, but will stay around average for this time of year. Valley areas will be in the mid to high 90's on Saturday, and Sunday. The potential for showers will return to the region on Saturday night, and will become much more substantial on Sunday. The best chance for showers will be in the mountains, with a slight chance of precipitation in the valley. Temperatures will fall into the mid to high 80's towards the middle of next week!
