Hotter temperatures, very low humidity values, and sunny skies are ahead for your Thursday Farmcast. Temperatures are only falling into the mid to high 60's for the valley this morning, and are projected to climb into the 103 to 106 degree range this afternoon. Winds will continue to be out of the Northwest to around 10mph, and humidity values will fall to between 5 to 15 percent again this afternoon. These temperatures are well above average, and even hotter conditions will be ahead for Friday. Your Thursday morning sunrise is set for 6:43am, and sunset will be at 7:24pm.
Temperatures will be hotter on Friday, and are currently projected to climb into the 105 to 108 degree range. The ridge of high pressure responsible for the hot and dry conditions we've seen this week will begin to shift East on Friday afternoon. Low pressure heading into the region from the Pacific will then allow for an increase in the Delta Breeze and slightly cooler temperatures this weekend. Much more seasonable temperatures will return towards the middle of next week, with high 80's to low 90's projected for Tuesday and Wednesday.
