Tuesday was another hot one around the North State, and tomorrow looks even hotter! It won't last, however, as Mother Nature's air conditioning will kick in by Friday with much cooler weather!
And the heat goes on. The Valley saw highs in the low 90's today, and tomorrow will be even hotter with highs in the middle 90's! Wednesday should be the warmest day of the year for us... so far.
But big changes come late this week. A chilly (for May) storm will swing into the North State by Friday with MUCH cooler weather along with showers and scattered thunderstorms. Valley highs will be near 70 this weekend! There will even be a bit of snow in the Sierra Nevada above 6000'. This storm won't drench us, but it is pretty chilly for this time of year, so we'll definitely cool down a lot!
The Valley may dry out early next week, but mountain showers will continue... and so will the comfortable weather.
