Hot weather is headed our way for the next couple of days. But it won't last, as much cooler weather is returning by the weekend!
Today was warm and breezy around the North State, and it's going to get even hotter in the next few days. Those gusty winds will continue through Tuesday. Strengthening high pressure will warm the Valley highs up in to the mid 90's by Wednesday!
Big changes are coming our way as we finish off this week, however. A cold storm from the north Pacific will drop into northern California by Thursday, bringing MUCH cooler weather our way. Valley highs will drop to near 70 by Friday, and stay there though the weekend! Look for showers and scattered thunderstorms Friday and Saturday as well, with even some snow on the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada!
