It was hot yet again around the North State, with Valley highs close to 100. High pressure over us is strong, and won't change much in strength until next week... so look for the heat to continue.
Next week is more interesting. Models are indicating a weak storm to move into the Pacific Northwest. This storm won't bring us rain, but we should see some high clouds from it around mid-week, and it will be strong enough to weaken high pressure, which will allow us to cool down nicely.
If this late summer heat is too hot for you, you'll like next week much more! Fall starts in less than two weeks.
