Hot, dry, sunny, and windy weather is ahead for your Labor Day forecast. Temperatures are starting out in the mid 60's to mid 70's in the valley, and the mid 40's to mid 50's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures will soar into the 99 t0 104 degree range this afternoon in the valley, and into the high 80's to mid 90's in the mountains.

Winds will be a big factor in today's forecast, and are expected to gust to around 25mph out of the North in the valley. Sustained winds will be at around 15mph out of the North for the entire north state. The north state will also be extremely dry, with most area seeing a dip to under 20 percent relative humidity. The hot, dry, and windy conditions will leave the region with high fire danger.

A cooler system heading through the Pacific Northwest will leave the region with much more comfortable weather heading into the region by midweek. I hope everyone has a marvelous Monday, and a great Labor Day!
