Sunny skies, hot temperatures, strong North winds, and very dry conditions are ahead for your Tuesday. Temperatures are starting out in the high 50's to high 60's in the valley this morning, and in the high 30's to mid 40's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the low to mid 90's in the valley, and into the low 70's to mid 80's in the mountains. Winds will be out of the Northwest to 20mph, with gusts up to 35mph. The hot temperatures and strong winds paired with low humidity values will result in moderate to high fire danger across the region today.
Sunny skies, strong North winds, and even hotter temperatures will be ahead for your Wednesday. Valley temperatures are projected to climb into the mid 90's tomorrow afternoon, while mountain areas top out in the mid 70's to high 80's. Fire danger will continue to be high tomorrow. Some major changes are ahead for your late week forecast. Temperatures will only top out in the low 80's for the valley on Thursday, and will then drop into the high 60's to low 70's on Friday. Clouds will slowly return to the region on Thursday, and the potential for showers and thunderstorms will return to the area on Friday afternoon. The potential for unsettled weather will continue into the weekend. Valley areas will continue to top out in the high 60's to low 70's for Saturday and Sunday. I hope everyone is ready for the very HOT temperatures ahead for your mid week forecast, and has a great Tuesday!
