Hot, dry, and windy conditions are ahead for your Thursday farmcast. There is a Red Flag Warning in place for many areas of the north state. It is advised that you avoid using heavy equipment in dry brush if at all possible.

Temperatures are starting out in the mid 60's to mid 70's in the valley this morning, and are projected to climb into the 95 to 100 degree range this afternoon. Winds will be strong, and are expected to gust to around 25mph out of the North throughout the day. Humidity values are also projected to be extremely low, with most areas ranging from around 8 to 15 percent this afternoon.

Temperatures will remain high, but winds are expected to be less severe over the next few days. Expect humidity values to rebound slightly through the weekend. Please use extreme caution if you are working outside today.
