Hot, sunny, and dry conditions are ahead for the north state in your Wednesday forecast. Temperatures are starting out in the high 60's to low 70's for the valley, and will climb into the mid 90's to low triple digits this afternoon. Mountain areas are starting out in the high 40's to high 50's this morning, and will climb into the high 80's to high 90's later on today.
Clouds will be completely absent from the region over the next 2 days, and humidity levels are dropping as a ridge of high pressure heads into California. Relative humidity could drop below 20 percent this afternoon for most areas of the valley. Winds are expected to stay light today.
The heat will continue into your Thursday forecast, before temperatures begin to fall again for the end of your work week. Temperatures will fall into the high 80's to mid 90's for the valley this weekend. I hope everyone stays safe in the heat, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
