Hotter temperatures, and sunny skies are ahead for your Monday Farmcast. Temperatures have dipped into the mid 60's to low 70's in the valley overnight, and are projected to climb into the high 90's to around 105 degrees this afternoon. Winds will be light, but will pick up to 10mph out of the South this afternoon. Humidity values will drop to between 10 to 25 percent. Your Monday morning sunrise is set for 5:42am, and sunset will be at 8:39pm.
Temperatures will continue to heat up over the next few days, and will peak in the 109 to 114 degree range on Wednesday. The extreme heat will continue on Thursday, before a very modest cool down arrives for your 4th of July weekend. Despite the drop in temperatures, most valley locations will still be in the high 90's to around 104 degrees. Please make sure to take precautions when working in the heat. Drink plenty of water, and wear light clothing (color and fabric).
