Triple digit heat, sunny skies, and very dry conditions are ahead for your Friday Farmcast. Temperatures have only dropped into the high 60's to low 70's for most of the valley overnight, but Redding has only dipped into the low 80's. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the triple digits across the entire valley, with 106 degrees possible for the northern end of the valley. Winds will be a little bit stronger today, and are expected to be up to around 15mph out of the Northwest. Humidity values will drop to around 10 percent this afternoon. Your Friday morning sunrise is set for 5:39am, and sunset will be at 8:36pm.
The hot temperatures, sunny skies, and dry conditions will persist through the weekend forecast. Temperatures will fall into the mid to high 90's for the start of next week, before finally falling into the low to mid 90's by Thursday. Make sure to stay hydrated, and dress in light clothes if you're working outside.
