Hot, and Dry Conditions Lead To Higher Fire Danger Today

High heat, and low humidity levels will increase the threat of fires across the north state, today. Temperatures are expected to surpass the century mark throughout the entire valley, and mountain areas will be in the mid 90's to low triple digits. Humidity levels will also be very low, dropping to around 25%.

The best news of the day is that the wind does not look like it will be a huge factor. Winds will only gust up to around 10mph out of the South.

The chance for mountain thunderstorms will bring an increased risk of fire danger to the region midweek.
