Hot & Dry Conditions Ahead For Your Extended Farmcast

Sunny skies with limited smoke, and mild temperatures are ahead for your Thursday Farmcast. Winds out of the Southeast will help to keep most of the smoke from the Trinity County, and Lake County fires from impacting the valley. Temperatures are starting out in the low to mid 60's for the valley, and are projected to climb into the low 90's this afternoon. Winds will be out of the Southeast to around 10mph, and humidity values will continue to dip to around 15 percent this afternoon. Your Thursday morning sunrise is set for 6:17am, and sunset will be at 8:06pm.

Temperatures will be much hotter leading into the weekend, with triple digit heat expected as early as Friday. The peak of the heat will be ahead for Saturday, with the valley climbing into the 102 to 105 degree range. The valley will stay at or above average next week. Temperatures will be in the mid 90's to low triple digits from Monday through the middle of next week. Hot, and dry conditions will continue to leave the region with elevated fire danger.
