Hot temperatures, and active weather conditions are expected in your Wednesday forecast. Temperatures will continue to climb into the 98 to 105 degree range in the valley, while mountain areas will return to the mid to high 90's.
Mostly sunny skies will dominate the region this morning, but give way to partly cloudy conditions in the afternoon. Winds will also start out light, but South winds to 10mph will return this afternoon.
There will be a chance for mountain thunderstorms ahead for the mountains this afternoon, but the brunt of that threat looks to diminish on Thursday. Skies will begin to clear by Thursday afternoon, leaving the north state with sunny skies by Friday.
Dry, and hot weather will be ahead for your weekend, continuing the threat of high fire danger in your extended forecast. I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!
