Triple digit temperatures, and the potential for afternoon thunderstorms are ahead for the valley in your Tuesday Farmcast. Valley temperatures only dipped into the mid 70's to low 80's overnight, and are projected to climb into the 100 to 104 degree range this afternoon. There will be an influx of moisture from the South this afternoon that could result in isolated heavy showers accompanying thunderstorms for the northern end of the valley. The mid valley is not as likely to have the active weather this afternoon. Winds will be up to 10mph out of the Northwest, and humidity values are on the rise. Most valley locations will have humidity values bottoming out between 35 to 45 percent this afternoon. Your Tuesday morning sunrise is set for 5:39am, and sunset will be at 8:34pm.
Much cooler temperatures will be ahead for your Wednesday afternoon, with most valley locations topping out in the mid to high 80's. The potential for active weather will be more significant across the entire region on Wednesday, with a 30 to 40 percent chance of showers/thunderstorms in the valley. Temperatures will quickly rebound into the high 90's to low triple digits on Thursday, and will continue to stay in that range through Saturday. Temperatures will top out in the low to mid 90's for the end of the weekend, and start of next week.
