Paradise Police are breathing easier after no explosive devices were found despite receiving a threat at a local hospital early Thursday morning. No one was injured and no explosive devices were located.

Police officials said emergency dispatchers received a call around 2:59 p.m. saying that a suspect had placed bombs at all the fire exits at Feather River Hospital in Paradise. Emergency responders said the suspect was disguising their voice in some way and could not be identified.

An officer then inspected all the fire exits where no explosive devices were located. Officers felt that evacuation of the hospital was not necessary.

Paradise Police are investigating the threats. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department.
