It's shaping up to be a busy holiday season at Chico's Bidwell Mansion Historic State Park.
Beulah Rebekah Lodge NO. 60, the Chico Women's Club, and Bidwell Mansion Park officials for a day-long Holiday Open House on Sunday, Dec. 14th. The Mansion will be adorned with festive decorations, and the event will include musical performances, tours, and refreshments.
Performances will be held each hour be beginning at 11 a.m. with the last one at 4 p.m. Staff and volunteers will be dressed in period costumes to welcome guests for tours of the first floor of the decorated, Victorian style mansion.
The Open House welcomes all ages and is free to the public, but tickets are required for each performance. Only 80 tickets are available per performance, so get them early if you plan to attend! They can be reserved at the BMSHP Visitor Center at (530) 895-6144.

11:00 - Students of the Wright Academy of Musical Arts
12:00 - Sounds of the Valley
1:00 - Sounds of the Valley
2:00 - Gesundheit!
3:00 - Chico High School Choir
Meanwhile, Family holiday photos may be taken inside Bidwell Mansion from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings through Dec. 22nd. All it takes is a reservation and a $20 donation.
Photos may be taken in front of the Christmas tree, Annie's piano or on the main hall stairs. You must provide your own cameras and take your own pictures, with no flash allowed.
Reservations will be taken for 15-minute time slots.
