California Highway Patrol officers are searching for a hit-and-run suspect who caused a four car accident on Interstate 5 southbound near the Loma Vista Drive overpass Friday afternoon.
It all started just before 2 p.m. when a white Toyota Tacoma was traveling westbound on Highway 44 rear-ended a couple in a pickup truck.
Police say the driver of the Tacoma then sped off on I-5 south. The couple who had been rear-ended, caught up with the Tacoma on the interstate. The driver of the Tacoma then deliberately stopped in the middle of the freeway, causing the couple to rear-end the truck, causing a four car pileup.
There were no major injuries, but CHP Officers are searching for a white male with blue eyes and a shaved head, driving a white Toyota Tacoma, California license plate number 7-H-8-5-0-6-4.
