As the manhunt for Shane Miller, the lead suspect in the murders of his wife and two daughters in Shingletown on May 7 reaches its 13th day, Humboldt County Sheriff Deputies have told Action News there are no new leads or developments in the case.

A Humboldt County Sheriff's Deputy did indicate the hikers who initially found Gigi, the Miller's family daschund, were contacted this weekend. Deputies were unable to reveal all the information the hikers provided due to the ongoing investigation, but they did state the hikers found the dog the same day and roughly around the same time Miller's truck was found by authorities near Petrolia, Calif., May 8.

A 24-hour roving unit is in place to respond to any sightings or suspicious activity in the area, and both Humboldt and Shasta County Sheriff Departments are actively collaborating to find Miller.

Miller is considered to be armed and dangerous. If seen, do not approach Miller; call 911.

Anyone with information should immediately call the Humboldt County Sheriff's at County (707-445-7251) or Shasta County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 245-6025 (24 hour line).
