Higher fire danger returns to the region today. Lower humidity leves, hotter temperatures, and stronger winds will all be big factors. Temperatures will climb into the mid 90's for the valley, and mountain areas will be in the mid 80's to low 90's. Humidity is also seeing a significant drop from earlier this week, as the monsoonal moisture will not be returning to the region today. Winds may be the biggest factor, with gusts of up to 25mph out of the north expected in the valley. Please be safe as you go about your business on this Thursday.
