Eyes were on a Fort Myers High School senior after he scored a touchdown Friday night and then took a knee to pray.

Florida students are allowed to pray before the game and after the game - but in this case not during the game.

In the end, though, this penalty wasn't about praying, according to refs.

The player, Sam Turner made the catch and crossed the line - scoring a touchdown for Fort Myers High. It was Turner's first touchdown as a senior at the school.

But as quick as the play was made - it was called.

Turner took a knee and the refs called it excessive celebration.
