High gusty winds are causing havoc across the North State as several trees have caused major power outages in Butte County.
As of 9:00 a.m., more than 5900 customers are without power in northern Paradise and Magalia.
Public work crews has closed off Elliott RD from Ingalls to Copeland Rd because of downed trees and power line.
Residents on Temple Court are being asked to shelter in place because of power lines down.
Initial reports say Clark RD maybe also closed because of multiple power lines in the road way.
