High Fire Danger Ahead In Your Wednesday Forecast

Hot, dry, and sunny conditions are ahead for your Wednesday forecast. Low humidity levels, hot temperatures, and North winds will lead to higher fire danger across the region. Siskiyou, and Trinity counties have a Red Flag Warning in place, that is going to continue until 11pm. Humidity values are expected to fall to around 10% for the Northern Mountains, and to around 15% for the rest of the region.

Temperatures are starting off in the low to mid 60's in the valley, and are projected to climb into the 92 to 98 degree range this afternoon. Mountain areas are starting out in the mid 40's to low 50's, and will be in the mid 80's to low 90's later today. Winds are expected to be at around 10mph out of the North this afternoon.

Temperatures are not expected to change much through the weekend, and sunny skies are lingering in your extended forecast. I hope everyone uses extra precaution with today's fire danger, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
