The heat continued today... but cooler weather will arrive soon. This weekend looks like a beautiful fall weekend... Finally!
High pressure continues to dominate California, keeping us hot. But a disturbance over southern California will move northward soon, weakening high pressure and spreading clouds over northern California. That should cool us down as we finish off this week, and the high clouds will create beautiful sunrises & sunsets.
A somewhat stronger (but still relatively weak) storm will arrive Saturday. This one is strong enough to spark a few showers in the mountains, but the Valley should remain dry. Everyone should see partly to mostly cloudy skies Saturday, along with MUCH cooler weather (70's in the Valley!) The sun will return Sunday, but temperatures will remain comfortable.
Next week looks to start mostly sunny and a bit warmer... but not as hot as this week.
