Agents with the Shasta County Interagency Narcotic Task Force found heroin, methamphetamine, a marijuana grow and drug paraphernalia in a Redding home Thursday morning.
SINTF agents along with the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Investigation Team executed a search warrant on the 20000 block of Alta Vista Lane in Redding around 7:30 a.m. this morning.
Investigators found 9.2 grams of heroin, about four ounces of methamphetamine, about four pounds of processed marijuana, eight growing marijuana plants, 14 hypodermic syringes, one controlled substance smoking pipe, and evidence related to the suspected sales of controlled substances.
Authorities arrested Michael Barber Montgomery, 45, of Redding for possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sale, cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, maintaining a place for trafficking in controlled substances, use of a place designed to suppress law enforcement entry in order to sell controlled substances, and destruction of evidence.
Shane Christopher Phipps, 40, of Redding was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, being present in a place where controlled substances are used, and destruction of evidence.
Both men were booked into Shasta County Jail.
