Temperatures warmed up today... and they'll continue to heat up this weekend. Valley highs will approach 90 by Saturday!
The gusty winds from the past few days mostly died down today, although it was still a bit breezy at times. What's left of that north breeze will diminish overnight, and should not return tomorrow. High pressure is strengthening over California, and that warmed us up nicely today. As the ridge continues to strengthen, high temperatures will continue to heat up, coming close to 90 this weekend in the Valley!
But it won't last. A storm will break high pressure down next week. Look for clouds to return on Tuesday, and a chance of showers (along with much cooler temperatures!) next Wednesday and Thursday. Thunderstorms may be possible in the Valley as well... we'll watch that as the storm evolves.
But before that... look for a hot weekend ahead!
