We enjoyed beautiful weather today around the North State, but we're going to heat it up later this week. Valley highs will approach 90 in a few days!
After last week's rain, it was nice to see the sunshine the past couple of days. Temperatures were terrific today, but as high pressure strengthens... look for the mercury to rise. A light north wind in the Valley will boost those afternoon highs into the upper 80's on Tuesday, and even hotter a few days after that.
But it won't last. A weak storm will move into Oregon this weekend, and while it won't bring us rain, it will weaken high pressure enough to cool us down some. Long range models are suggesting some wet weather to return by the middle of next week. That's a ways out, so... we'll see!
