It was a nice way to start our week, with highs a little below average. Not much change coming tomorrow, but a bit of a warmup is on tap to finish this week.
We saw slightly below average high temperatures around the North State today, and we won't see much change tomorrow... so expect another pretty nice day! High pressure will strengthen by the end of this week, so look for our highs to surge somewhat then... but only a bit above average. Nothing like what we saw at the beginning of the month, thank goodness!
We had a few isolated thunderstorms in the mountains this afternoon, which will dissipate quickly after sunset. Look for similar coverage in afternoon thunderstorms again tomorrow, and then we should dry out for the rest of the week.
High pressure will weaken this weekend, allowing us to cool back down some. The remnants of Pacific Hurricane Delores could surge into California Sunday and Monday, potentially bringing rain to central and southern California... and plenty of clouds to us in northern California. It's still a ways out, so we'll keep a close eye on Delores.
