Firefighters in Gridley received a "Sweet Support" delivery from Butte County "HeartShine" Title Holders this week.
It's the girls' way of showing their appreciation, and was prompted by a video that went viral over the weekend ... showing a man berating firefighters for where they chose to shop for groceries.
Heartshine is natural, "inner beauty" pageant system the strongly promotes community service.
The basket delivered to the Gridley firefighters included homemade brownies, strawberry shortcake fixings,a fresh fruit basket and a Thank You card in appreciation for all they do.
The Gridley Heartshine Girls include Harvest Queen Raina Wright, Jr. Harvest Queen Hannah Norton, Summer Queen Mary Castaneda and Mini -Miss California Queen Siera Santos.
Other Heartshine title holders will make deliveries to each fire station between now and the end of May.
Red Bluff and Susanville Heartshine participants will also be taking part in their communities.
